|Prerequisites||MTM 3120, PHYS 1111K, PHYS 1112K, PHYS 2030K, and MUS 2330 with grades of C or higher and consent of instructor|
Studio-based application of recording techniques including musical judgments in audio mixing, recording production, and post-production. Editing, mastering, and master recording preparation. Laboratory training in techniques for high-quality audio recording commensurate with commercial and artistic standards. Creation of a professional audio product through the development of independent recording sessions including selection of material and final editing and mastering. Required laboratory work. Two lecture and two laboratory hours.
