Description

This course provides an overview of the unique topics associated with the specialty of rehabilitation counseling including history, laws, professional orientation and roles, employment, and ethical/legal concerns. Students become familiar with multicultural diversity, research, professional/organizational, vocational and rehabilitation counseling, and career development issues as they apply to be rehabilitation counselors.
